Now for some Real Action

I’m finally getting the hang of this, but as you can see from the dates, I only get around to posting about once a month. I vow to change this – as of today and to keep up to date.

But to catch up with some photos I’m including a bunch here showing how we:
- Tore Down the Garage



- Poured a new Foundation















- Framed in the new Studio

























- Tore off the front of the House
























- Reframed the front of the House

























- And Added a second story


























When I say we, I mean the team, headed by Steve (also known as the Rooster), who is doing a great job – along with the other Steve, George, Phil, and Pat and assorted other subcontractors and assistants.

They’ve made incredible progress this past month, in spite of one of the rainiest Octobers on record. And the plan is to have the entire house closed in within the next week to ten days.


Doesn't it look amazing? It's really coming together and you can really see how the design is working to bring the two disparate buildings together. When the new dormer/bump out if put on to the old house connecting the studio to the rest of the house and creating a new stairwell up to the thrid floor, you'll see how the whole design will work.
